• Payment information: processed and stored by Stripe. We never store full payment card details.
• Usage data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and session timestamps.

2. How We Use Information

• To create and maintain therapist profiles and client connections.
• To verify therapist identities and process subscription payments.
• To communicate administrative alerts, approvals, rejections, and platform updates.
• To improve the platform, detect fraud, and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. Data Encryption Standards

We prioritize the security of sensitive information. All government-issued identification provided for verification is stored using AES-256 bit encryption at rest and SSL/TLS encryption in transit. Payment card details are handled exclusively by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor, and are never stored on our servers.

4. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Profile information remains visible to the public while the account is active. Identity verification records are retained for the duration of the subscription and a reasonable period thereafter as required by applicable law.

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell personal information to third parties. We share information only with:

• Service providers who perform services on our behalf (e.g., Stripe for payments and identity verification, Resend for email, Supabase for database and storage, Vercel for hosting).
• Legal authorities when required by law, subpoena, or court order.
• Successor entities in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to equivalent privacy protections.

6. Public Profile Information

Information displayed on a therapist’s public profile (name, tagline, bio, services, pricing, hours, approved photos, phone number, and premium social links) is intentionally visible to the public and searchable via Google and other search engines. Therapists should only include information they are comfortable sharing publicly.

7. Children’s Privacy

The platform is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a minor has provided personal information, we will delete it promptly.

8. Your Rights Under Florida Law

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. See Section 13 below for the Right to be Forgotten process.

9. Security Measures

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption, access controls, Row Level Security on all database tables, multi-factor authentication for administrative access, and regular security reviews. Despite these measures, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International Data Transfers

Our servers and service providers are located in the United States. By using the platform, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

11. Third-Party Links & External Content

The Site contains links to external profiles and websites, including social media profiles of Premium therapists. Florida Massage Elite does not control, monitor, or endorse the privacy practices of third parties. You access external links at your own risk and are subject to the privacy policies of those respective domains.

12. Data Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected users within the timeframes required by applicable law, including the Florida Information Protection Act.

13. The Right to Be Forgotten (Data Deletion)

In strict compliance with the Florida Digital Bill of Rights (2026), users maintain the right to request the total deletion of their data.

• Process: Submit a formal “Data Purge Request” via email to contact@floridamassageelite.com or through the site admin.
• Verification: We will verify your identity before processing the request to protect against unauthorized deletions.
• Result: All identifying records and media will be permanently destroyed from our secure servers within 30 days of verified request, subject to legal retention requirements (e.g., financial records).

14. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We utilize tracking technologies and cookies to enhance user experience, maintain authenticated sessions, and analyze site traffic. By using the site, you consent to the use of these technologies for professional optimization. You may disable cookies through your browser settings, though certain features may not function properly as a result.
